Allison + Mike // Engagement

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Allison and Mike for their engagement. The two are getting married next summer and I can tell this will be fun wedding.

We had a great time strolling around Victoria Park on a windy afternoon, and got some great pictures. Allison and Mike were very natural and comfortable which always makes engagement shoots that much more enjoyable.

Emily + Andrew // Wedding Photo Teaser

Andrew and Emily are a great couple. I have played baseball with (and unfortunately against) Andrew for many years, so I know what a great guy he is. Emily, although a couple years younger, was in high school at the same time as me, so it’s always nice to know both of the people so well. They are just a fun loving couple.

The day was great, including the weather. We drove out to the beach about an hour before sunset so the light was perfect. A great couple with great light makes for some great photos.

Jed + Terri // Wedding Photo Teaser

I have known Jed and Terri for a long time. I play baseball with Jed, and Terri is always in our cheering sections, so I was always getting updates on how the wedding plans were going. I was looking forward to this wedding for a long time as most of the wedding party was old friends and classmates, so it was great to catch up.

Unfortunately, it was the wettest wedding I have ever done, we couldn’t get outside for more than a couple minutes. Technically a very difficult wedding as we were constantly dealing with low light situations. Shooting indoors all day definitely tests your creativity.

Jed + Terri // Engagement

I have known Jed and Terri for quite some time. I have gone to school with Terri since grade one, and Jed and I have played baseball together since our Peewee days. The couple is getting married this weekend, but we had a chance to get some engagement shots before the wedding.

I’m looking forward to their big day, as I know their wedding party will be in for a good time.

Christina + Clinton // Wedding Photo Teaser

Christina and Clinton’s wedding was awesome. Even though we got a little rain, that didn’t stop the wedding party from having a great time. From cruising Charlottetown in a party bus, random karaoke, and shots from the bride and groom, this is a wedding I’ll remember for a long time.. Oh and we got some great images too.

Kara + Trevor // Wedding Photo Teaser

Kara and Trevor are an awesome couple. They recently got married on a beautiful Saturday and you could tell it was the best day of their lives. Even though I know Trevor and Kara from my high school days, you can always learn something about people when you photography them, and these two are great, kind and caring people.

Mary Beth + Steven // Wedding Photo Teaser

I have been to a lot of weddings, but never before has the groom made such an impressive entrance. Steven is a farmer as well as a truck driver. When the wedding was about to start Steven and his groomsmen arrive in two transfer trucks, pretty impressive.

Jennifer + Ryan // Wedding Photo Teaser

Jennifer and Ryan had a rather wet day which cancelled their idea of an outdoor wedding, which goes to show you that anything can happen on a wedding day. Despite the rain the couple was still beaming and they are married and very happy. I was only with the couple for two short hours, but we got some great shots along the way.

Fr. Andrew // Ordination

For the past three summers I had a chance to shoot an ordination (check one out here). Ordinations are such a rare but awesome celebration, and the Diocese of Charlottetown is so lucky to have these fantastic new priests. Andrew.. or should I now say Fr. Andrew has a been a good friend of mine for a couple of years and when he asked me to photography his ordination I was very excited.
