Chantal + Jeff // Engagement Pictures & Slideshow

Chantal and Jeff are getting married next summer, however they wanted to get some engagement pictures done before Jeff heads off to pharmacy school (good luck Jeff). Before we started the shoot they both let me how excited they were for the pictures, but Chantal gave me a little heads up… if she smiles too much her chin will get sore. When we were done of the shoot, I asked if her chin was sore and she said no. I think’s because she wasn’t just smiling to smile, but she was smiling because she was having a lot of fun with Jeff. She put it the best when she told me, ” It’s so easy to have a good time when you looking at the person you love”. Well put…

Can’t wait for their wedding next year. Here are some of my favorites.

Erica + Scott // Engagement Pictures & Slideshow

Lately, I had the chance to photography Erica and Scott who are good friends of mine. Erica booked me last year do their wedding, September 25th of this year. If there engagement shots are any indication of how their wedding will go, well it will be a fun day. Both of them were laughing and playing the entire time, which makes my job extremely easy.

Christine + Trevor – Full of emotions // Wedding Photo Teaser

Christine and Trevor celebrated their big day this past Saturday, and it was a day like no other. First off, all week the weather was calling for rain most of the day, but as you can see in the pictures we had nothing but blue skies.

When it was time for the ceremony, the wedding was so full of emotion. Trevor had smile on that couldn’t be removed, and you could feel the love that the entire church had for these two people. Talk about an easy couple to photography.

Music is very important to this couple, and they started out their dance with a square dance. They had some amazing musicans playing – JJ Chiasson, Tim Chiasson (http://www.timchaisson.com/), Elmer Deagle and the groom himself.

Stacy + Chris // Wedding Photo Teaser

Stacy + Chris got married on August 14th, and they asked me to document their day. We covered some distance on the day, as the ceremony was in the beautiful church in Sturgeon. We then made a couple stops on our way back to Charlottetown. We got to stop and get some shots at a golden wheat field, which is one of my personal favorite locations.

Sue + Ryan // Engagement Shots

Sue is my sister-in-law. Ryan is the guy that got tormented by the family as to when he was going to ask Sue to marry him. Every Christmas, Easter, Wedding, etc, was a time to put Ryan on the hot seat. Finally this past fall, after many mock attempts at a proposal, Ryan popped the question and the rest is history.

I got to take a few snaps of them when they were home this summer. Here are a few of my favorites, along with a slideshow.

Lisa + Symond // Wedding Photo Teasers

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa & Symond (also know as Wax). Lisa and Wax met while Lisa went on a backpacking adventure in Australia. The rest is history. All the groomsmen were from Australia and they were all great to work with; willing to try anything.

Dave + Johanna // Wedding Photo Teaser

Dave and Johanna got married this past Saturday, up in the very east point of the island, North Lake. There were several jokes made during the reception that this was the ‘Down East’ wedding. Although Johanna is originally from PEI, she and Dave live in Toronto; I had the feeling that Johanna was glad to be home.

We had some awesome weather and the day went very smoothly we were even ahead of schedule). Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Here are the beach pregnancy pictures I took for Sherri & Cory and Cheryl & Mike last week. In case you didn’t read my last post with the teasers on these photos, Sherri gave birth to their baby boy about 9 hours after these pictures were taking. How crazy and cool is that?!? Although he came three weeks early, it sounds like all are doing well (thanks Facebook).
