Well the winter is over and the weather is getting warmer which means wedding season is among us. When I looked at my calendar a month or two back I was surprised to see that my first assignment of the year was actually an ordination. I have done an ordination before, but they are extremely rare (maybe one a year for the entire diocese).
Fr. Chris asked me a couple months ago if I would shoot his ordination and I was more than happy to do so. Chris is a year younger than me and basically went from high school to the seminary with a quick one year stint at UPEI. Seven years later he is the youngest priest in our diocese.
I found a new piece of software that lets me upload high quality slideshows right to the blog, so here is the premiere. Here are some of my favorites from the ordination. Track is ‘Kingdom Come’ by Coldplay.
